When it comes to how you view yourself, do you automatically focus on your shortcomings and how you’re not enough of versus treating yourself with loving-kindness? If so you're not alone.
It’s so common that we aren’t aware how many times a day we say unkind or judgmental statements to ourselves.
Sending our mind, body & spirit negative messages can create unnecessary stress or anxiety on the nervous system. This can keep us in a mindset of discontent.
Sometimes offering loving-kindness and compassion towards someone we care about is easier and automatic. However, when it comes to offering it to ourselves, it can be almost non-existent.
When we give ourselves a nice healthy dose of loving-kindness, compassion and self-care we experience a sense of openness, warmth and well-being. This moves us closer to who we truly are.
In this mini-course I’ll go over how you can begin to practice loving-kindness and self-compassion towards yourself. I take you through a guided visualization that will help you begin to experience what this feels like. Then I walk you through a series of journaling prompts to help you begin to gain more awareness and develop a more self-loving mindset.
Creative Practice: I always believe to help solidify some transformation or adopt a new mindset, creativity can be a powerful tool. I walk you through a creative practice where the process of creating, deepens the intention.
